IRL
MATTERS

A man holding a pink card with black text that reads #IRLREVOLUTION and a message urging UK teenagers to socialise in real life, in an outdoor setting with people and trees in the background.

No-one will ever write a song about a game of fortnite. No-one will pen a poem in honour of insta likes. Those teenage memories that last a lifetime are made face-to-face.

But face-to-face is under threat. Society has moved online, taking our teenagers with it. We’ve seen the steady removal of all the safe spaces for young people to be together on our local high streets, only to be replaced by vape shops and fast-food outlets.

That’s why we’ve launched Moot. The world’s first subscription-funded venue aimed at giving teenagers somewhere to socialise
IN REAL LIFE.

Let’s make some memories.

THE JOURNEY TO SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

When we’re little, life is all about learning the basics — how to move, how to talk, how to manage big feelings. Childhood is about building those foundations.

But being a teenager? That’s a whole different ball game. The teenage years are about finding yourself. It’s about figuring out who you are when you’re with other people — finding your tribe, learning how to get along, stand up for yourself, handle challenges, and build the kind of friendships that really matter.

And here’s the thing: none of that happens if teens don’t get the chance to be together. They need time and space to hang out, talk things through, clash a little, laugh a lot, and grow side by side. Social identity doesn’t come from a textbook or a screen — it comes from real, face-to-face time with others.

A SAFE SPACE
TO MEET

THE SOCIAL SPACE FOR TEENAGERS

Moot is a space made just for teenagers — safe, welcoming, and full of energy. Everything about it is designed to help people connect. The vibe of the venue, the chill social gaming, the mix of events — it’s all about giving teens a place to feel at home and hang out together.

There’s always a friendly team around with loads of youth experience, and with ID-controlled access, so we know exactly who’s coming in.

That way, our Moot members can relax, be themselves, and make the most of their time at Moot.

FOR TEENAGERS

A SPACE TO BE TOGETHER.
A SPACE TO BELONG.

Moot wasn’t dreamed up in a boardroom — it was built side by side with 25 creative, passionate teens from NW6. Our Founding Co-Creators shaped every detail, making sure it’s a place that actually feels right for young people. A place they want to come to, and keep coming back to.

It’s somewhere they can hang out, be themselves, and — most importantly — feel like they belong.

THE IRL REVOLUTION THAT STARTS IN THE HEART OF QUEEN’S PARK

A man and woman standing side by side in front of a white brick wall, both wearing black hoodies with pink text that reads #IRLREVOLUTION. There is graffiti on the wall behind them and a framed colorful portrait with pink glasses on the right.

Moot is the brainchild of Paul & Cheryl, long-time colleagues & parents of teenagers. Concerned by the lack of safe and inspiring places for teenagers to hang out, they co-founded the #IRLrevolution: a parent-led movement to give every teenager somewhere to socialise IN REAL LIFE. Moot is the pilot for a new type of venue dedicated entirely to face-to-face socialising for teenagers.
